How Soon Is Now?

So, I'm in Richmond. I'm still behind on emails
(working on it, promise!) and a third of the garage sale stuff is
out (anything being paid for via snail-mail won't be sent out
until I get back to Boston - sorry). A few people are just
Paypalling payments without waiting to see if I still have the
art - please don't do that. Let me contact you first.
Richmond is lovely. On Friday, Rinny and I went to see MC Chris play. There were three other
bands - one of which was the
Gaskets. I'd heard the Gaskets before and thought their stuff was
okay - but their show's great. If you ever get a chance to see them
perform, do so. And MC Chris was fucking phenominal.
So, yeah. I'm still in Richmond. I want to do a reader gathering on
Friday. Still not totally sure where to do it. Rinny has suggested
Carytown Burger and Fries, but I'd want a headcount of people who'd
definitely be showing up so I could warn management. But if there are
better suggestions for a not-so-loud (rules out most pubs) place that
you don't have to be 21 to get in to and isn't full of smoke, let me
know. I'm deciding tomorrow. Also, if you're sure you can make said
gathering, tell me - just in case it ends up being Carytown. And, like
always, I'll do fast sketches for anyone who shows up - of if you bring
Munchkin cards (no more than two per person, please), I'll put something
on those for you, too. -R
