Hey, all. So, this weekend, YoumaCon is kindly bringing me out as a guest. Below is my schedule for the show. I think
I'll have a table somewhere to do free fast sketches, too. Once I know for sure, I'll post that. Anyway, here's my schedule:
Friday: Opening Ceremonies at 1pm. Maid Cafe at 5pm (I... I don't think they're having me dress up as a maid and serving coffee, but, y'know... if you're willing to spend the bucks....) in the Rennaisance Center. Ask the Artists at 9pm at Cobo in Room 252.
Saturday: Something*Positive Panel at 1pm at Cobo in Room 252.
Sunday: Closing Ceremonies at 6pm.
Again, thank you kindly to the YoumaCon people for bringing me out and putting me up. I hope to see a lot of you there.
So, I've mentioned this previously, but just to remind you - I won't be doing a lot of conventions in 2018. It's going to be my "off" year. There's a couple of
shows near Savannah I'm debating because, hey, I'd get to sleep in my own bed at night. And as long as Blind Ferret allows me to sit in their booth, I'll be at
GenCon. But... I just really need a year off from the travel, etc. So no Emerald City in 2018. Sorry. And, to tell the truth, I'll probably be doing a lot
less conventions from now on.
It's not that I hate them, but it's just a lot of work and, frankly, I miss being home a lot. I also miss meeting a lot of you and I'll be sad not to see my
comics friends as often, but gotta take care of myself. And my cats. My wife seems to be pretty self-sufficient.
Anyway, I now have to pack my remaining Dallas possessions and drive all the way to Savannah, Georgia, for fifteen hours. My MP3 player is full of horror
audio books and podcasts. "See" you when I get there. -
