First, a plug. My friend, James Grant, has not only
brought back Flem in addition to
drawing Two Lumps, he's doing a
donation drive with gifts offered in return. I'm crossing my
fingers for him.
So, I'm back in Texas. I've been told by a reader that the Tomato
(formerly the Flying Tomato) in Denton may be closing. I dunno if it's
true or not - y'know how rumors go. I
am saddened by
this, for the pizza is amazing and I've many memories there. So I'm
going to go there tomorrow. I'm debating on going from noon til 2 or
later in the day - I'll know by tonight and post it in the wee hours of
the morning. If you are local and want a free fast sketch tomorrow,
check to see what time I'm going to show up and come by, hang out,
whatever.
Yeah. I'm crashing a pizza plus in a college town to draw and by
annoying. That's what "vacation" is all about. -R
