Today's Comic
So Long, Boston.

August 5, 2008

I wanted to do a post last week when we got back from Comic-Con... but I didn't. Sorry about that. I want to thank everyone who came out to say, "hi" at Comic-Con. Comic-Con was, to say the least, completely overwhelming. But exciting - hopefully, though, next years they'll give Jennie, Aeire, Chris, James, Mel and me a booth near the rest of the webcomics. That way I can really pester the hell out of Howard Tayler and the Foglios. I'll do a full con report tomorrow (it's mostly written) but today I just don't have the time. I'm still shipping out copies of Super Stupor Issue 1 (for those asking, yes, it's new stuff, not reprints - well, except for pages 1 and 8).

Also, I have to pack. See, Rinny and I are moving. I mentioned this a while back, actually. We've both had our fill of Boston winters and roads (worst system of roads I've seen) and have decided to spend some time in a cheaper-to-live in area before further moving out west. Because of this, I want to make sure you all know the Positive Thinkers store will not be doing sales as of August 15th. The store will reopen, at earliest, mid-September. It depends on how the move goes, etc. It will open no later than the start of October. The only exception may be a Super Stupor Issue 2, but I may put that off til October for sanity sake. That being said, I'll still be checking on the store's email if there's any problems or questions.

There are many people here we'll miss here in Boston, but it's probably time to get going. I'm considering having a, "So Long and Kiss My Fluffy Ass, Boston" reader gathering but the last attempts at reader gatherings in Boston fell through (mostly because I was quite busy). We had one last in 2006? Damn. That's too long.

The site will still update while we're moving (the end of this month - damn, that's so soon). Soooo... yeah. Oh, and Rinny's ebaying off some random stuff so we don't have to take it with us, just in case you're interested.

More later. -R
