I was in Roswell once. Aside from things like an alien-themed laundromat and fifty souvenir shops (with a surprisingly diverse stock), the only other thing is a ‘UFO Museum’, which is separated into ‘believer’ and ‘skeptic’ sides. (One ticket lets you see both.)
My best guess is Davan is going to the museum to stand on the ‘believer’ side and berate people.
FWIW? I was there because, after driving across Texas for three days straight on a cross-country trip I, like Davan, couldn’t take it anymore and took the shortest route out of the state.
Remind that to the uncomfortably many folks whose lives depend on Medicare, but want “Obamacare” banned, because they haven’t figured out those are the same thing.

Same. It feels so weird to revist it. I started actually trying to catch up a few weeks ago during slow periods at work, I even turned one of my monitors to vertical to make it easier to zoom in. I got to 2019 before the site swap-over…
But yeah, so many memories of that little flat I was living in by myself at 22, reading Something*Positive, Flem, Queen of Wands… of course, S*P has outlived them all, aside from the one with the homicidal bunny. Nostalgia can come with a bit of pain!

Why do I keep thinking on strips like this, where Davan is going off somewhere, or we’re in a new environment, etc., that we’re going to bump into either Kharisma or a now ~30-years old catgirl?
I’ve found that my younger friend doesn’t care when I try to share the cool stuff, like Abbott and Costello or Jack Benny.
