I think I recall a comic a long time ago that said Fred’s dad *really* didn’t get along with anyone and was such a bad person people virtually celebrated at his funeral.
I just remember the one that had Fred’s grand-uncle Vester die in some horrible way. Of course, that comic must have been 10 years ago, so I might have gotten the details wrong.
As an Arkansas resident for the vast majority of my life, I feel like I should be offended by this. But as an Arkansas resident for the vast majority of my life, I also completely agree.
Can’t speak for Arkansas, but Kansas? My parents dragged me there for a family reunion when I was 13. It’s been almost 40 years, and to this day I have yet to step foot in the State of Kansas again.

No, that was Fred’s grandpa. Fred’s dad was nicer than him, but to be fair, so was basically everyone.
