Seriously speaking, it would at least be an amusing take on the usual crappy horror film that emerges from the fiction icon that has gone public domain.
Yeah, at least this one has an actual internal justification beyond the external justification of simply wanting to ruin beloved childhood icons. Like, horror isn’t my thing so I probably wouldn’t watch it if it got made, but with Winnie the Pooh and Steamboat Willie I got annoyed and rolled my eyes at how nakedly lazy they were purely for the sake of perverting something tied to the innocence of childhood, and not even in the fun way, but with this I was like “huh, that’s not a bad idea and has the potential to be an interesting take”.
as an antonym to wife, an old word for man is were, which is where we get werewolf = manwolf. so women who turn into wolves should be wifewolves.

Yeah, I had a feeling that Aubrey was going to seize on that idea.
I have to admit..I kind of want to see this.
Maybe it’s just me, but Aubrey looks weird without the choker.
I mean, frankly any of these actually being “good” might actually spark a renaissance of old IP being brought back good.
Though I will say, I was enjoying Mousetrapped. Hope you feel better soon Randy.
It’s been nice to see Jason again.
