    1. Use the middle click, or tap-and-hold the image to select open in a new tab. It’s been a long-standing issue with websites that offer both linking and image view expansions.

    2. I checked out of curiosity, and it’s a weird glitch: if you hover over the tip jar image, Firefox shows the URL it points to at the bottom as it always does for links. But clicking on it only shows the image thumbnail in a gallery.

What worked was right-clicking the thumbnail and clicking “open in new tab”, which actually opened Randy’s Paypal page (middle-clicking also worked). How bizarre!

    3. It does. It’s a PayPal.Me link and the username is ‘choochoobear’. I wouldn’t recommend anyone clicking on links that have been left in the comments section (or be very, very careful) because of the potential for people to post doctored links. The one on the site works, and takes you to a PayPal page with a ‘Send’ button.

  1. 25 years definitely allows you the grace of taking time to take care you (any amount of time does tbh).

Hoping 2026 is kinder to you and thank you for the continued excitement whenever I see an update here ❤️

  2. I’ve been reading since 2003. Take all the time you need, I’m not going anywhere *shrug* Hope you have an enjoyable festive period with the family, at least!

    1. Hey, take care of yourself and your family first. We’ll be here when there’s a new comic, no rush, no pressure.

  3. Your mental and physical health are far more important than our entertainment. Do what you need to do. We’ll be here.

  4. anyone still reading loves your stuff and isn’t going anywhere. We’re stubborner than you, so you’d have to die to escape us (please don’t.)

  5. I realized I’ve been here for like 15(?) years, which may not be as long as others, but suffice to say it’s long enough that I’m not going anywhere! Also, this might be a dumb question, but could you outsource the re-upload of the archives to someone else? A lot of your work was stored on the internet archive (it’s not up to date, of course, I believe it goes to 2022) but I’m not sure it includes guest comics or anything. I really hope next year is better for you! Thank you for sharing your art!

  6. I’ve been reading since like the first month and it is wild to think it’s been almost 25 years now.

  7. Randy,

I just finally joined your Patreon page. This comic is an awesome work of art and sociology. I look forward to its 25th year. If you can only do one comic a week, that would be perfect. Have a great Holiday Season and a Blessed and Prosperous New Year.

  8. Hope that 2026 is better for everyone. Would letting some fans help with the archives be a possibility? Am sure there’s enough of us with the skill set and experience even if adulting means being a bit time poor.

  9. I’ve been reading since I was about fifteen or so. I’m thirty-two, now. You’ve been a long-standing part of my life and every time you post about something going off, I just hope you’re doing okay. Take your time, enjoy your family, do what you have got to do. Stay safe and alive, Randy, we enjoy your work and would prefer you not die trying to give it to us.
