  1. I don’t remember the last time I could roll my shoulders without it sounding like the 21st Century Fox intro.

    Doesn’t hurt though, so long as I keep doing it. Just gotta keep the muscles and tendons limber. Getting older sucks, but it does beat the alternative.

    1. I was raised to think that big pain was 99% inevitable for every body at 35+. Certainly by age 40.

      While some of us have hurt since childhood, some of us are lucky (with physical therapy, minimal exercise, lucky genes, and treatment when stuff hurts).

      It isn’t currently possible for most bodies to be pain-free til 80, and, death comes for us all… but, outliers do exist, and you might be one, in either direction.

      Don’t take pain or non-pain as inevitable. Go to physical therapy when stuff starts hurting. Good luck.

  2. At 40, if something doesn’t make that bone on bone pop noise, I wait for the cat to pounce me. That’ll make something pop.
