  1. Now you know why elderly parents are always telling you about random pains when you call them. they are showing off their collections, lol.

  2. Turning 50 was the first birthday in which I finally felt my age. On the other hand, when I hit 60, I felt pretty good. I must have adapted well, because I’m just over 70 now and I didn’t even notice it.

  3. I feel bad in that I’m past 45 and constantly can walk more than 20,000 steps a day.

Heck, some days I do more than 40,000.

  4. Aw, I’m so sorry to hear that, Randy. Get well soon!
Symptoms wise that sounds very much like the “frozen shoulder” I’m suffering from right now. In my case it’s an inflammation of the shoulder joint capsule. My doctor put me on cortisone to fight the inflammation, which seems to be working (pain is mostly gone).
But there’s already quite some scar tissue in the joint, which limits joint mobility to maybe 25% of my normal range. Apparently it takes up to a year for that to regenerate…

  5. It’s especially “fun” when various joints start cracking and popping at random times.

  6. Saw a shirt once that said something along the lines of “Getting old is just one body part after another saying ‘Oh you think that’s bad, watch this'”

  7. Oh heck yeah…..I
I think I’ve seen the doc more times in the last 7 months since turning 50 than I did in the last 5 yeats

  8. When I had that in both arms, it was calcium tendonitis. Worst pain I have ever had, beats appendicitis, or kidney stones or even getting kicked and bit by a large horse.
